Privacy
This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, how we use it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. Last updated October 14, 2026.
What we collect
From families. When you fill in the family form, we collect your name, email address, and ZIP code, the age ranges of your children, the kind of childcare you are looking for, your timing, whether the host parents are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, whether you can provide a private bedroom, what interests you about hosting, anything you choose to write to us, how you heard about us, and your phone number if you ask us to call.
From candidates. When you fill in the candidate form, we collect your name, your WhatsApp number or email address, your age range, whether you finished high school, whether you hold U.S. citizenship, whether you can commit to a full year, when you could start, your experience with children, your English level, and whether you have a driver's license.
From the contact form. Your name, how to reach you, and what you write to us.
Automatically. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to record general information such as which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location. We use it to understand how the site is used, not to identify you.
How we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to understand whether the program could be a fit, and to talk with you about next steps. We also use general usage information to improve the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it for marketing.
Who sees it
The Israel Au Pair team sees what you submit so we can respond. We also rely on a small number of service providers to run this website, deliver form submissions to us, store them, and measure site usage. They handle information only to provide those services to us.
Matching involves other people: a U.S. Department of State-designated au pair sponsor, and a host family or a candidate. We do not share your details with a sponsor, a host family, or a candidate without telling you first.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us while we are in touch with you and for a reasonable time afterward. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Use the contact page and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is meant for adults. The family form asks only for the age ranges of your children. Please do not include your children's names or any medical details in the forms.
Where information is handled
Israel Au Pair works with families in the United States and candidates in Israel. Information you submit is stored and handled in the United States.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or online service can promise perfect security.
Changes and questions
If this page changes, we will update the date at the top. If you have a question about your information, contact us.
